ok, here goes... isn't it true that since they have changed the terms of the baptism wording (back in the mid 70s ) it is their view that we are a part of their organization therefore they have the right to control our life and hold our standing over our heads.

Ok, here goes... Well, if I am a part of something does that not mean that I own a bit of it?? Like my stock acct, right? Bear with me. I helped sell those damn magazines, ok, not very well but that is irrelavent here and I contributed for those stale 'loaves' at the conventions and soured pudding, and furthermore I followed their damned advice and parked, sllept and ate where the basterds told me to so that my 'mother' would benefit from the kick backs... well, I am leaving now and I need my share of the monies. That would be one into however much they have world wide...n ot just in the US as funds have been transferred through other countries.

If a few thousand of us got together and pursued this would there be any chance. Yes, the contributions were from the heart but the kick backs were fraudulent as far as I am concerned.

i have tried so many times to use an avatar that i have selected and saved on my desktop... got it from a tiny pic in a magazine.

i changed it so that i was saving it in the proper format and still nothing.

i am very, very frustrated.

Do you think it bothers elders, to know they can not control us now?

last summer i went to a wedding of a relative that is a witness.

we're not disfellowshipped or disassociated, but have been inactive for about ten years.

because no one mentions our history to others, very few members of our relatives congregations, even know we used to be witnesses.

i was doing a bit of research for the apostate team that's going to circumcise the top of russell's pyramid by taking its top off and making off with it.

checking out some maps of the location i fired up google earth.

Hhhmm, does your attorney really think that they end result could bring down the Watchtower Society? Would he mean just the Canadian division for now or perhaps the US as well. I think that this grotesque beast is going to bring about its own death. Personally, I think that the wild beast in the scriptures has a direct reference to the WS as a whole. Not just the whore riding upon it.

As stated earlier on a different thread regarding our views of whether or not the religion will last I say no and it will be at least mortally wounded within 5 years.

Have you any idea how long before this case might actually see the inside of a courtroom.

well it looks like my plan to fade might not work after all.

yesterday afternoon i was in my office when two elders stopped by for a visit.

they came into my job and began to question me in front of my boss and my new assistant!

What about having your boss write a letter on business stationery if need be and send it to the presiding overseer explaining that he should help some of his preachers to learn the difference between house to house witnessing and workplace intrusion.

Then maybe a sign on the door that states no trespassing in the name of religion. I did not say that very well but you know what I mean.

I really think that if a businessman writes it might pull some more weight.

Maybe they want you to lose your job so you can return to the flock and pioneer!

if witnesses really think their version of a funeral talk is a good way to give a witness ...think again.

...oh yea i also was really pissed how your funeral turned out...while i was sitting there ...kept sayin to each other how much we hated it and how pissed we were that he was sayin all that shit.. .

Are we not told that we are not to celebrate the birth but rather the death as that is when we can look back and analize the life and see the type of person they were and their deeds?

Anyone here thinking of seperating or other major life change?

right now i am in a bit of a turning point in my world and was wondering if anyone else is there or had been there and would like to chit chat.

i guess i am feeling that if these difficult decision and transitions are shared with others that understand they might be a bit easier to live through.

Ballistic, bless your little heart it sounds like you have things pretty much under control. You are at a cross road waiting for a new adventure. That is not bad!

Lady Lee, your situation sounds like mine. I have to stay here in the country as I have no other form of livelihood but what I can form from the land and my environment. My hubby keeps telling me that I would be in big trouble without his insurance and he is right. I sure do feel trapped. Finishing a small addition so that I can have clients live here as that seems to be what I do best. Caring for them and providing a home and etc. This is my second marriage as well and it sure is hard, huh? 11 years the first time and 17 years this time. I am trapped in the area for a year as I exchanged carpentry/ electrical work for free client care to the man and his sons that are working on the addition. I can not break my word. I will use that time to formulate a plan.
